Matt Rich is a nationally-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in the field of Dermatology. He grew up locally in Santa Rosa within a family of healthcare professionals who practiced in the local community. After studying Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he furthered his education and obtained his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. Over the years, Matt has trained with a diverse group of board-certified dermatologists, Mohs surgeons and advanced-practice providers in various clinics throughout California. While he enjoys all aspects of dermatology, he has a special interest in the use of dermoscopy for skin cancer prevention and treatment, and always strives to provide compassionate and personalized care. Matt is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and sports including skiing, cycling, golfing, hiking, surfing, camping, and whitewater rafting. When he is not in clinic, you can likely find him exploring the Sonoma coast, revisiting familiar trails in Annadel state park, or skiing near Lake Tahoe.
